“We really appreciated the clean comfortable room, friendly staff, daily room servicing, happy hour and included buffet breakfast. While we didn't dine in the restaurant- dinner menu looked great. The staff always greeted us with a smile. The hotel was a fantastic base for our exploration of the Ballarat region. We will recommend this hotel to others considering staying in Ballarat.”

“Great stay for a family of five in older style motel setting. Clean and comfortable and close to town. Heating worked a treat and we appreciated the electric blankets, spare blankets and pillows. For a budget family stay in Daylesford it does the job perfectly.”

“What was on the Internet not the same as experienced, Take "breakfast included" Is fruit juice, cereal, fruit and coffee/tea considered a breakfast? I doubt it. This outlet on market for past two years and it was noticable. Weeds outside and inside very run down. The whole area totally "unloved" I think owners should sell and cut their losses and let someone take over and run correctly as a B&B. “Easy check in, comfy bed, clean room (with the exception of the bathroom). Cleaners need to focus on the shower as that was not very clean at all. Will be sending photos. Breakfast buffet was ok, not worth $35 per head. Would be great if they kept up with the demand as we had to keep going to check if they had refilled some items. Ie: no eggs. Other than that we’re happy with our stay.”

“We liked the bar/common area with fireplaces and had a good dinner at the Virgin Kitchen restaurant. The sauna was not hot enough for me, but I am from Sweden. The place is a bit bigger than I expected, so less cosy than a boutique hotel.”
