Hotel a Saluda

“Front desk staff was great. Friendly, helpful, and efficient. Parking was easy. The room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. Only drawback was the pool didnt appear to be maintained to the same standard. Breakfast was much more than we expected. Bacon, eggs, waffles, a selection of cereals, yogurt, juices in addition to sweet rolls, coffee, tea and hot chocolate.”

“I rarely would give a five star review, this property was so beautiful, beautiful welcoming, and extremely clean. My husband and I enjoyed breakfast every day with a beautiful view of the water & the staff were so friendly and accommodating for all of our needs. A+ for the luxurious towels and amenities. I hope our travels bring us back.”

“The property has a great all inclusive breakfast and also love the fact that they have an outdoor pool since the neighboring hotel doesn't. I've stayed here in the past when visiting family near by and haven't been disappointed. Also I want to thank the two front desk employees Michelle and Tyrese, for understanding my situation and being super accommodating to my needs. You guys rock!!! “Dusty walls; many, many marks and stains on floor, walls, and woodwork. Parking in front of rooms full of cigarette butts and small trash. Price was cheap but definitely not worth the bargain. Needs extensive deep cleaning and repainting.”

“Very outdated. Hall carpet dirty and stained. Room walls cracked, bathroom lacking towel rods. Toilet and sink clogging. No hair dryer (,as advertised). Not worth what was charged. Not a repeat.”

“Staff friendly. Breakfast very good although not included. Many amenities for kids next to Busch Gardens. Bed nice, however ceilings and carpet not clean and dilapidated. I had very limited options to cancel second day; would have been reimbursed very small amount;That was unacceptable. Probably more options if had booked through hotel. Did not see a phone number on Expedia to call directly.”

“Cedars of Williamsburg is an excellent place to stay. The staff was wonderful. Alex went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome and to make sure we had everything we needed and more. The breakfast each morning was great. Not just the food, but the atmosphere, conversation, and how the staff included my 12 & 9 year olds in everything made the stay even more pleasant and enjoyable. Each future trip to Williamsburg will include this bed & breakfast!”

“The building is old and smells older. Cleanliness was fair at best. Entire building and rooms are cooled only by window units, so the rooms were not very cool. We were there for only an evening, so we tolerated it. We did eat at the Williamsburg Inn and that was a good atmosphere. We wanted to stay in an historic place, but would not consider the Griffin again.”

“Owner Jay is very nice and easy to work with. The location is fantastic! This hotel is pet friendly so that's a bonus in our book! Bed was comfortable, only drawback is bathroom is small with not much space for your toiletries but it certainly isn't a deal breaker. Very clean room. We stayed in a king room. I'd definitely book here again next time we're visiting the area.”

“Overall my stay was OK. Upon arrival I was not able to check in on time because my room was not available due to hotel being reserved to capacity, which caused me to have a 1 hr delay in check in. The hotel receptionist (Urania)was somewhat pleasant however, made some remarks that my particular room wasn’t ready because I had to wait for a handicap room, I stated I did not book a handicap room. Then, she stated that since I booked via Expedia that, I have the cheapest room, so I had to wait for...

“I think they can repave the parking lot and spruce up the outside along with the lobby. It doesn’t look to appealing.Need hospitality to throughly clean rooms. They left used towels in our room. Staff were friendly. The breakfast could be better and the elevators need work.”

“Overall the property seemed well kept visually. Our room was clean and exactly as pictured. The reason I'm not leaving a 5-star review has to do with the fact that there were lots of maintenance issues during our stay. Upon arrival, the computers were down making for a much slower check in. The staff was doing their best to accommodate despite the issue. The second day we were there the elevator was out of service, and was still out of service upon our departure the following day.
