“First time (in our experience) the actual property exceeded the photos (and the photos made the place look great in the first place). The property is beautiful and the house is beautiful. The riverside setting is everything for which we were hoping and the house simply tasteful and Adirondack elegant. Whole place is comfortable inside and out. “We booked this escape as a 1/2 way point between family in NJ and MA and what a hidden gem it is! Dog friendly was a priority, but the magic of this place was a welcomed surprise. All weekend we commented on wishing we stayed longer and that we must come back to really enjoy the property and cozy feel that warms the soul! The cabin is meticulously maintained and it is very clear that the family loves their home away from home! Can’t wait to return!!”

The view from the deck is amazing and the living room is huge with an old stone fireplace which we didn’t use because it was 90 degrees each day. The Mexican restaurant in town (Norte Azul) has an extensive menu and a good variety of beer on tap. Highly recommend visiting Mt Greylock in MA, about 30 mins away.
