“The rooms are in a modern build anex and are comfortable, clean and very pleasant. My room and many rooms have a small balcony, air conditioning and great space. We were able to park our motorbikes right next to reception, it felt safe. Breakfast was good and there is a nice restaurant within walking distance by the river ( I think it’s owned by the same people). Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a quiet town but has a good supermarket. Overall this was a very nice stopover and I’d gladly...

“This place served us well. We only stayed for a night, but it was set up that you could easily stay longer. Clean, spacious and great kitchen set up.
Self checkin at night, so make sure you have codes to get into building and room.

“Paula etait réellement très attentionnée et sympathique. Elle nous a changé de chambre pour etre mieux installé quand elle a remarqué que nous voyagions avec 2 adolescentes. Le site rural était parfait pour la détente et la relaxation tout en étant enchanteur. La chambre était propre et les lits très confortables.”

“The staff were so friendly and kind to our dog as well. We normally stop in the area on the way down to Portugal which we visit frequently. We will definitely be staying again. Good walks from the hotel along the river and very central location so access to facilities, restaurants etc. Free parking too.”

“This is a lovely hotel with the best breakfast in Portugal! Literally! Their restaurant Ponte Velha is also superb and very reasonably priced, the change the menu regularly monthly if not weekly which is a great. In my top 10 hotels in Portugal!”

“It was a cute little apartment. Type unit was a huge balcony overlooking the river, which was beautiful. Had a very well kept kitchenette, a little living room area, bedroom, and bathroom. It was well decorated and a very pleasant surprise.

- Vermutlich wurde das Personal im Service nicht richtig geschult. Zum Teil völlig überfordert mit Sprache und mit der Kasse. Auf Anfrage ob Ginja der traditionelle Likör aus Portugal ist wussten sie das nicht. Auch ist das Personal im Service sehr träge und das Frühstück war nicht rechtzeitig auf dem Buffet.”

“What a beautiful little hideaway! The design, feel, cleanliness and service made us feel very special during our stay. For a small boutique hotel the breakfast options were not limited and clearly fresh produce. We felt very looked after and would stay again. Obrigada! ”
