“We booked a room with queen size beds however our room only had one double bed. When asked front staff regarding bed size she stated our bed was a queen and it was the same size as all beds in all the rooms. When I restated the bed was in fact only a double size she appeared unconcerned and no effort was offered to check it out or ensure we got the room size we booked. The room was very small and only suited to one person- not two persons with multiple travel luggage. The cramped room had one...

“Clean room, hallways were loud in the morning with housekeeping repeatedly slamming doors and talking loudly. Hot tub desperately needs an upgrade - pool was very warm. Restaurant was decent, no butter given with toast which is my biggest pet peeve these days with restaurants. Neighbouring bar attracts some pretty gross, smelly people, I would stay away. May consider this again if all other options are booked.”

“The pool area is becoming a bit dated. Rooms are small but the hotel is well maintained.”

“There was snot on the shower glass, a half eaten bag of chips in night stand. Carpet was sandy & needed a vacuum. Other than that it was above average. Service was great , food and lounge fantastic. Check in a breeze.”

“The property clean, the staff was helpful and the room was good. This is a old property so it has charm but it also has quirks. The parking in the back is small but adequate. The breakfast was basic but decent. Overall it was a decent stay at a low price. It's right downtown so there is the feel of security but the location is great if you like to be close to the action. It was also only 5 minutes from U of S which is why I was there.”
