“the rooms was very small, without air conditioned (with outside temperature of 32°C we missed it), and a very small bathroom (no space for the sink, which was located near the beds!). the room was on the first floor right above the main street, and although the village is quite, the traffic (motorbikes) woke us up at 7. nice small terrace with lake view. breakfast at the restaurant in a nice position near the lake. we also had dinner there, not bad, but very expensive and far from Italian...

L'elemento che lascia un po' perplessi è il prezzo: il costo di una notte è eccessivo. “This hotel is literally next door to the train station which runs Panoramic express trains every hour. It's really quiet in the rooms and you cannot hear the trains at all. It's super convenient to get to Lucerne or Interlaken. The hotel location itself in Lungern is so beautiful and definitely worth exploring and spending a day there too! “Hotel bello e posizione ottima per escursioni a piedi, treno e/o funicolare. Massima disponibilità e cortesia del personale, centro wellness bello e rilassante. Buona cucina. “The hotel is located in Meiringen, which is connected to Interlakhen OST and Luzern by train. Lake Brienz is also pretty close to the property. The room was spacious, had all amenities. Though like many other Intrelaken Hotels, the hotel does not have AC, however, they provided table fan, which is sufficient. “We visited at the end of April when this hotel was still under construction. It was a minor inconvenience as we paid for a “garden view” when the view was a complete construction zone. They did upgrade our room size because of this. That being said, the restaurant was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. We stayed 2 nights and ate at the restaurant both nights. Their buffet breakfast is also amazing. Seeing that the hotel is no longer under construction, I would definitely stay here...
