“It was located on the main street of Tynemouth. We could see the sea at the end of the road. We were not disturbed by noise. There were lots of well rated cafes and restaurants. The owner was very friendly, available and helpful without at any point being intrusive. He went out of his way to make us feel at home and to provide what we needed. We were very pleased and would return if in the area.”

“We stayed for 5 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Sally and Paul were perfect hosts, friendly and chatty. The room was clean and well equipped. The location was great, not too far from the centre or the attractions but nice and quiet. Only had breakfast once but it was delicious. Everything was clean and we had all we needed. Definitely will be booking again when we can ”

“For the most part this is a truly excellent family run guest house and I can definitely recommend this spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and well appointed place to stay in the quiet residential area of the town. The house is located midway between the town centre with its public transport interchange and the seafront with its attraction and beach both are about 10 to 15 minute walk away.”

“The hotel is beautifully renovated, stylish and modern. All staff were so friendly and customer focused. Location right on the river and quayside short walk into city centre. The terrace for drinks was probably the area where we were expecting a little more but it was still fantastic. Drinks a little pricey but it was a special occasion so we didn't mind so much.”

“We booked this as a large group and it didn't disappoint. The apartments were well laid out with ample space in the living room areas. There was great cleanliness throughout and areas stayed at a nice temperature. The accomodation was really quiet at night and the key system although awkward at first was easier than keys. “Fantastic stay. Stayed for a wedding. Staff really welcoming and friendly throughout. Slightly difficult to find our room, but was lovely when we got into it. We struggled to keep the room cool, but we loved the big bed and huge bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic too. Scenery amazing. Would definitely stay again”

“We have stayed here a few times but as it was my husband’s birthday we upgraded to a suite and it was wonderful. Really big room with a lovely bathroom with twin sinks, a super bath and large seperate shower. Nice toiletries and large bath sheets too. The bed was very big and comfortable. Best of all was the balcony out onto the roof and behind the chinmey stack where it was great to sit in the sun in complete privacy with a cup of tea or a drink. I must also mention the lovely staff on...
