Home away from home

Sedona Rouge was the perfect place for a staycation. It felt like home, but seemed world's away at the same time.

Everyone was kind, and the room was wonderful, especially after a day of driving for seven hours.

Some problems

Data di pubblicazione: 23-lug-2016
Sliding door was very hard to open. Three maintenance men could not fix it and never came back! The shower had mold on the shower floor next to tub. Lots of mold on wall grout in shower and tub area.

セドナ的にいい場所にあるホテル

場所が程よく便利でした。価格に見合った快適さがありました。おそらく場所として、便利かついい場所な気がします。セドナは広いようで狭いので、このホテル個人的にとてもオススメです。

Great place to stay in Sedona.

The courtyard off the lobby is a great place to hang out. The fountains help keep it cool.

Great value for money

Data di pubblicazione: 17-lug-2016
Lovely hotel with super super friendly staff that really like to help. Our room was specious and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel restaurant is excellent and every dish we had there was a blast. The salmon at breakfast was really good and generous which is not common - highly recommend. Only minus was our room was nearby the lobby fountains which are quite loud so I would ask a room which is not near the lobby fountains. Overall great hotel and I would definitely come again!

We stayed in the new building and it was beautiful

Data di pubblicazione: 15-lug-2016
Contro: It would have been nice to have an ice machine close by instead of having to call the front desk.
We stayed in the new building which was beautiful. Everything was so fresh and new and smelled just like a brand new house. We didn't have enough wash clothes and called the front desk and they were there in 5 min. with 4-5 more for us. I would suggest this hotel to anyone....we had a wonderful stay!

Overpriced for quality, service and location

Data di pubblicazione: 9-lug-2016
The hotel is 50% overpriced, the setting and surroundings do not match any expectations for the area and the cost. The reception personnel took over 10 minutes to check us in, even had to ask for help on how to generate the room access cards. Aside the expensive room there are additional charges for apparently only having the honor of being there. A total mistake - BIG mistake!!!

Probably a really nice place 10 years ago.

Data di pubblicazione: 6-lug-2016
Pro: The pool area was nice. Access to local restaurants/etc is convenient and not down in the touristy east Sedona area which is a traffic nightmare.
Contro: general maintenance on the structure - take some pride in your hotel.
Posizione: Movie Theater, good restaurants, and a Safeway are all nearby. Hotel access on the busy street is good because there is a stop light right there.
You can tell from the architecture and design of the central courtyard in the hotel that this was once an amazingly ornate and beautiful hotel. The fixtures are nice, the columns are nice, the garden/water feature is nice... The problem is that it doesn't look like anyone takes care of any of it. My first thought when we walked up the stairs was that no one had put an ounce of upkeep effort into the building in 5 years. The metal edges on the cement stairs are rusty and crumbling. The little metal embellishments on the walls are rusty and the original finish is long gone. There were stains on the cement on the ground floor where something up higher has rusted and the rain dripping past the rust is carrying the rust color with it. It just looks neglected. The rooms (or at least my room) had one of those euro-style AC units mounted in the wall directly above the bathroom door (interior wall - not exterior wall like some motels). The fan in the unit ran constantly even when the AC wasn't running. It vibrated so badly that it shook the bathroom door in it's frame. The noise was ridiculous in the bathroom. I ended up folding a piece of paper to fit over the top of the door to deaden the irritating noise to a tolerable volume.
