Nice surprise

We visited many hotels in our trip around southwest parks and this was the best one. The room was ample and with access on the garden, the pools clean and comfortable, people friendly and the general look of the hotel is Great.

nell'albergo in un posto stupendo

l'albergo è pulito e molto molto carino, con tutti i comfort. ci sono piscina aperta, spa e centro fitness. il parcheggio è gratuito. personale molto gentile. le camere sono spaziose ed anche il bagno.

Pool could be a bit more modern. An older structure that was renovated. Pretty nice overwhole, but extra amenities and for the “resort” fee, it could improve on the resort concept. Nice location in mid town.

Great Choice

Pro: Spacious, clean rooms. Nice grounds. Friendly and pleasant staff.
Contro: Some service kinks in Reds, it needs better management. One night people were walking out because the service was extremely slow.
Posizione: A short drive to the shops, our jeep tour picked us up at the hotel. Conveniently located across from a supermarket.
We enjoyed 3 nights at the Sedona Rouge. The room and bathroom were both nice and spacious. The only small blip we had was with the TV, it took a day to resolve. We loved Reds Restaurant, we had breakfast there every morning and a couple of dinners. The staff were both friendly and professional. All in all a delightful stay.

Great ambiance and comfort

Pro: There are several outdoor sitting areas to enjoy, with fire places and pool and jacuzzi. The views from all parts of the hotel are delightful.
Contro: No. Perfect!
Posizione: It is in the center of the art galleries, restaurants, and several out door activities. A very good location.
The entrance to the lobby welcomes guests with the relaxing sound and delightful view of fountains where one can sit and unwind. The check staff were all very helpful and friendly. It was a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay, with lovely views in every direction.

Wonderful Hotel

Contro: spa facility needs to complete update of womens hot tub area
Posizione: trolley stop in front of hotel lobby, easy access to local sight seeing and shopping
Wonderful Hotel with lovely grounds. Had a girls get away and thoroughly enjoyed our room and the food at The Reds is amazing! The only down side was the SPA. While our massages were wonderful, and the staff amazing, it was a bit of a let down that the SPA area was not up to the standards of the rest of the Hotel grounds.

Beautiful property and decor

Overall it was a good experience with a beautifully appointed room, but there are improvements that could be made. The shower was stunning but dangerous. It was huge but the tile was the same as the bathroom floor & once wet, it was very slick. Small suctioned bath mat provided was inadequate. Grab bars & a textured pebbled floor would address that issue. Also with such a huge shower, a bench of some kind would be awesome. Lighting in all areas needs to be brighter. Charging areas for electronic devices is sorely lacking. We have 2 laptops, 2 cellphones, & an iPad. That's pretty typical of most couples these days. There weren't nearly enough outlets, particularly near the bed. Final complaint - upon check-in, we indicated that we had a sunrise balloon ride scheduled our last morning & requested a late checkout of noon as we weren't positive when we would be done & we didn't want a carful of clothes and luggage to be left in the parking lot as that's an invitation for someone to break & enter. We were told to check the night before. When we did that, we were told it couldn't be approved by the 2nd shift & we'd have to check back next morning. I said we were being picked up at 4:20 am & I was told it would be no problem because someone would be there. When I checked in at the front desk about 4:15 am our morning of checkout, the story was different again! I was told I'd have to check back at 7:00!! I said we'd be up in a balloon then which was the whole point. Dumb practice.

Overpriced

Pro: Good food at restaurant.
Contro: Hotel without free use of Spa should be half the price of what we paid.
After considerable research via various websites, this hotel appeared to be a nice hotel at a decent value. It is described as a hotel and spa. If the "spa" part of the hotel came with the price, it would be a fairly good value. For the price paid, there were MANY hotels in the area at half or less than half of what we paid that would have offered the same comfort and cleanliness.
