Nice surprise

Data di pubblicazione: 2-set-2017
We visited many hotels in our trip around southwest parks and this was the best one. The room was ample and with access on the garden, the pools clean and comfortable, people friendly and the general look of the hotel is Great.

Looks fantastic, food fabulous!

Data di pubblicazione: 23-apr-2018
The room was clean and the establishment was beautifully decorated. Unfortunately, it was also very inefficient. There were no towel racks to hang towels in the bathroom, there were only four drawers in the bedroom to put away things, and the rooms had a significant portion of their floor space in a hallway. The staff for the most part were wonderful, ruined by the night clerk who checked us out. He was miserable. The most disappointing aspect was the noise. We were sandwiched between a courtyard that echoed the screams of children and partygoers (at all hours), and the rooftop deck were there were parties (these DID end at a reasonable time). The food in the restaurant was fabulous, and the service was awful. We asked to have a table for 3, the restaurant was 2/3 empty. They "could only seat us in the bar" which, again, was loud. The restaurant remained 2/3 empty our entire meal, which was exceptionally long because it became very obvious no one wanted to wait on us or continue to service our table. The spa services were wonderful. The check out after wards ruined the experience. This was extremely convoluted and LONG. I had made the reservations and thought I had paid for the services, come to fine the checkout girl trying to charge my guest! And then the compute went down, and it went downhill from there. The outside services booked through the hotel were fabulous, except the hotel knew nothing of the service.

Nice location and great service

Data di pubblicazione: 16-apr-2018
Pro: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel had a nice restaurant/bar, SPA, pool and Jacuzzi.
Contro: Bed comfort
I enjoyed my stay at Rouge. The facilities were very nice, with great amenities. Nice location on hwy 89a and close to all the great views and hikes. The hotel itself does not have any views of the famous red rocks but you can get to them quickly. The only complaint that reduced the rating to 4, is the bed. It wasn't very comfortable even tough it was billed as Tempur-Pedic memory foam.

Great location but not worth the price

Data di pubblicazione: 5-apr-2018
We booked this hotel never being to Sedona. The location is central and great, however the room was disappointing. Uncomfortable, no place for luggage, a bathtub took up most of the room and outlets were hard to find. Shower was limited in temp, so couldn’t get comfortable. $300/nt was too high of a price in my opinion. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and we will look elsewhere upon our return to Sedona.

Dear Guest, I apologize that your room accommodations were not to your liking. We do have other choices in room types that would match all of your requests. We try to list them on Expedia so that our guests receive exactly what they desire.

Room accomodations

Data di pubblicazione: 4-apr-2018
I had two room reservations for this hotel. Upon check in we were given handicapped rooms! It was a disaster beacause we were traveling with children! We asked to have our rooms changed and nothing could be done because we booked through a third party (Expedia) they told us this is the only room category they can offer us! A complete disappoint!

Nice Hotel - quaint!

Data di pubblicazione: 31-mar-2018
Lovely decor, cute courtyard, overall nice place. Not within walking distance of the main Sedona downtown area but very conveniently located to Starbucks and other quick bite places. Plenty of free parking and felt safe. Would stay here again.

Dear RB, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We love our quaint West Sedona location as it is away from the busy foot and vehicle traffic of uptown, but we are only 5 minutes away. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

Great location

Data di pubblicazione: 30-mar-2018
The location of this hotel is its best attribute. It’s close to some off the less touristy and hence less crowded hiking trails (Soldier’s Pass) and very close to great restaurants (Tortas de Fuego - hole in the wall with killer tacos and tostadas; or Jose’s Cafe - amazing breakfast with a Mexican flair; Pisa Lisa - Great wood fired pizza, organic salads and out-of-this world tiramisu). This is the side of town where the locals shop and eat out. The Red restaurant at Sedona Rouge has great service and a good and cost effective kids menu. Not enough options for adults and seemed too pricey. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and well maintained. The pool water was not warm enough ( supposedly heated). The lobby is outdated and very small so often was crowded. The staff was very friendly and helpful but lacked a professional appearance ( a little unkempt). The least attractive part of our stay at the Rouge was our room - although clean and up to date with a HUGE shower it was extremely dark. There was so little natural light coming in and not enough light from lamps etc that we had to use our cell phone flashlights when looking for things in the suitcase.I contacted the hotel before our arrival and asked for a room with a view of the mountains (I was willing to pay extra) and was informed that there weren’t any on the property - which is untrue. Unless of course they meant there weren’t any available, but that’s not how the message came across. They charge $25 resort fee

Comfy hotel in Sedona

Data di pubblicazione: 30-mar-2018
The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The location was perfect for accessing hikes (Devils Bridge via Chuck wagon is a must!) and good food. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Note: rooms come with goose down pillows and comforter-this can be changed upon request as we did due to allergies.
