“Great place to stay, such a convenient location to Towson University”

“The woman I encountered when I first arrived was very rude. I was about 45 minutes early for check-in. No one was at the desk but I could hear someone behind the wall talking. She walked out, said can I help you. I told her I was a bit early for check-in and she told me that I had to wait because I had a king room. Waiting was fine but when I went to ask her where I could go nearby for food she cut me off and told me I could sit in the lobby. The lifeguard was very nice as were the cleaning...

“This is clearly not 'Hilton standard' property. The building appears run down and old. Elevators and lobby generally didn't appear clean. When first reached room it was unlocked. Washroom is below average. Parking in the property is expensive. I do not recommend!!”

“We booked this accommodation as it was close to a venue we were attending. There was lots of on street parking. This is a gorgeous, grand old home. Note, Wilson House sits near a busy street. However, once inside, due to triple glazed windows, you will not hear the street noise at all! Also, be aware, rooms are on the 2nd-4th floor and there is no elevator. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were modern. Breakfast was very good. The owners were a pleasure to talk with.”

“There have been few hotels we have stayed at that we have enjoyed so much… The staff was extremely helpful in every way possible, they were friendly and polite and professional, the furniture in the room was something that I would expect to see at the Ritz Carlton, the bed was soft and extremely comfortable, the bathroom and shower were clean and again something that I would have thought only would be found in a Ritz Carlton or four seasons type room. “I was in town for a concert, and all of the staff were amazing. The rooms were clean, the front desk staff were very kind and professional, and the bartender was fantastic. I would also like to thank Ms. Tyra (I believe she was the AGM) for all of her help with my reservation. I had some issues with how I booked the room, but she was very accommodating and went above and beyond to assist me. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel to others.”

“This was our 2nd stay. Very nice facility. The 2nd stay, I had to leave early due to work. And a issue arose of the parking validation which was very confusing. After 15 minutes it was worked out. The halls and lobby are very warm. I checked on the staff to make sure they were staying hydrated. Hotel rooms were cool, air was on. Would definitely book again, if need be.”

“Perfect location. Romantic building. Very good breakfast. 2 big bed and a small useful kitchen. Best note for the stuff: at the reception, at the breakfast, the housekeeping. ”

“The outside of the hotel was fairly dirty. There were small pieces of trash and unknown wet spots all around. The staff was very friendly but that was about the only positive for this property. There was a strong smell of air freshener as soon as you got off the elevator and the room had a musty smell. The air conditioner made a whining noise every time it turned on and did not cool the room very well at all which made for a very uncomfortable sleep.”

“While across the street from Camden Yards, the area did not feel safe. The valet was a disaster. There were stretches when no one was available at all to help. Also, we came back one night and were told they were full up and wouldn’t be able to take our car. This occurred even though we were staying there and had already paid for the day. We ended up having to park in the garage of a neighboring hotel and had to pay to park there as well.”
