“Food poisoning the first night, rooms hotter than the sun, zero water pressure in the bathrooms. Constantly chasing staff for the most simple things. They ran out of ice. No fans for the rooms. No one collecting glasses or emptying an ash tray. Asked for a coffee in the morning and waited 15 minutes.. got up to ask where it was "oh i couldn't find you" yeah because you were in the kitchen flirting with the chef.. Could be such a wonderful place, if the staff weren't recreating Fawlty Towers”

“This was our 2nd stay when visiting Portsmouth for gigs. The hotel team are always very freindly and helpful. The breakfast is always good with good selection of fruits and juices to compliment ( if you actually have room). Free parking on a 1st come basis. All in all a great place to stay when in Pompey!”

“stayed for 1 week bed & breakfast. Checked in OK. Room size OK, but overlooking car-park with main road 50 metres away. Room furnished with freestanding pine double wardrobe accommodating full-sized ironing board, electric iron and hairdryer. space divided into 2, left side fore and aft clothes hanging rail (6 hangers),right side 3 shelves 2 drawers. The wardrobe double doors warped, difficult to open & close making loud squealing noise! the drawers were off their broken runners and operated...

“Nice stay for one night at this hotel partly due to an early hospital appointment and partly to take advantage of the aircon during a heatwave! Rooms are compact but adequate with controllable aircon, comfortable beds and a good sized TV. As has been mentioned on other reviews bathrooms have a clear glass door which was fine as privacy is maintained due to the layout of the bathroom. Location is good for the airport and hospital. Ma il water ricavato in uno spazio minuscolo e angusto è assurdo. Colazione appena sufficiente e quasi limitata all'essenziale. Al prezzo di € 170 a notte mi sarei aspettato molto di più. “Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good.
