“Electricity went out in the whole hotel. Went to breakfast and no coffee , no toast, no waffles because all require electricity Not hotels fault - but no apologies no hip to - to provide more milk since cereal and muffins was about it for breakfast. The little fridge was loosing its refrigeration so Leary to use anything in there. “The room was clean and comfortable except the bed, just way too soft for us. The balcony had a beautiful view of the river. The pool area nice and clean, we will stay again. The hotel was in a good location, close to everything that we wanted to do while there.”

“Clean and simple. Rooms had wooden floors which is good at the beach, Beds were clean and comfortable. There is a small fridge/freezer that worked well, microwave and small coffee maker. Plenty of towels that were thick and fluffy. TV with streaming platforms. No room key needed - uses key code sent to your phone at check-in. Would be nice to have some hooks on the wall for hanging beach stuff, and would be nice to have an ice machine on premises. Otherwise great! Bit of a walk to the beach -...

“Great place. The staff, location and family atmosphere makes Captains Cove the perfect location for an old fashioned family beach vacation. After 15 years of visiting it feels like staying with friends and not just a hotel. I’ll be back soon!”

“Had to get a smoking room that's all was left big burn holes in blankets, commode ran constantly , breakfast only oats toast. But beds were comfortable..”

“Unit was clean and AC worked well. The beds were not very comfortable, too soft for us. The bedroom walls and bathroom wall and ceiling had several areas that need repairs/paint. Next visit, I will pay a little more and get a nicer place. I was traveling with my mother who uses a walker. Pictures on website show one small step to get in unit from the porch. What wasn't shown is the other 2 steps to get into the porch. Also, bathroom door was so narrow that my mom's walker wouldn't fit.”
