Hotel vicino a Shepard's Beach Park - Lake George

“Very comfortable room! Easy to drive within village ”

“This is a nice motel. The only negative is the 20 steps going up to the 2nd floor. The room is spacious with 2 queen beds, 3 large pillows on each bed, and a thin blanket. The AC, the fridge, and the coffee pot with 2 reg coffee packets, 2 decaf packets and condiments are worked. The magnifier mirror was a nice touch. The pool and deck looked beautiful but we did not have time to use. Parking is free but not room assigned. Staff were nice.”

“Definitely not like it was advertised. Very dated motel that could use some work. A few light bulbs were missing and some of the ones there were the spiral ones. Bathroom had old wallpaper with mold at the seams. Bathtub wouldn't drain properly and filled up as I showered. TV worked well as did the air conditioning. Parking could be a problem if you come back late. The lot is small and tight. Also, the indoor pool is in separate building in the back of the property and not attached to anything....

“This is an older hotel/resort that sits on the hill overlooking Lake George. It has it's own beach and dock area with a sun deck over the dock. The rooms were nice with a great view. Check in was easy. The location is very close to Lake George village. We hope to return at a later date. Highly recommend staying here.”

“Room was clean. Check-in was very fast. The only downside was there was three of us in the room and they only left two towels so we had to keep asking for towels. Parking was another issue. It’s very difficult to find a parking space near your room, especially if you were returning after say 6 o’clock.”

“Excellent stay here!!!! Stayed in the value double queen room and it was actually very nice, no complaints at all. The breakfast and lunch during the day was very delicious. Property was well maintained and clean the entire trip. Even the beach area was excellent. They take well care of the Georgian and I will definitely be back. I’ve stayed at the Surfside and Fort William Henry in the past and this is by far my favorite place to stay. Easy walk to town. Could not recommend enough.”

“Unfortunately I got a bad experience with the people next to me Saturday and Sunday morning lot of noise early in the morning,but with kids is really hard to keep them quiet”

“Staff were all very accommodating, parking was excellent. The only issue I had was the ice machine is not working but this is minor for me. The location was a big plus,it’s in the heart of the action. I am definitely coming back with friends”

“Il personale di questo albergo é molto gentile e disponibile. La nostra stanza era molto carina, ma sopratutto pulita, con un letto molto comodo. Abbiamo dormito benissimo, anche perché questa struttura si trova sulla strada, come tutti Motel, ma é abbastanza riparato ed era tranquillissimo. Una ottima struttura per chi come noi era di passaggio.”

“I expected a separate room since it was a suite, but it was very large and worked well. We had a small dog and we were close to the stairs which worked out great.”

“Motel caratteristico in posizione tranquilla ma comunque vicino al lago. Noi abbiamo preso una camera con cucina. Buona la pulizia. Unica pecca ci vorrebbero delle stoviglie e pentole in più. Bella e comoda la piscina. Lo consiglio.”
