“Room was clean and things were fine, but just fine. The check in staff were ok, but not terribly welcoming or friendly. The room decor is very minimalist and sparse if that’s your vibe, but we knew that from the photos. We were put in a room in the 2nd floor facing the street. The car and motorcycle noise was so loud and continuous, practically unbearable until 10:30 at night. I assume rooms on the higher floors are better, but I had to request earplugs in order to sleep. “This place is right in the heart of Greenville! Turn left and it’s a short walk to Augusta St Gather GVL and Unity/Mayberry Park. Turn right and a short walk you’re at Liberty Bridge/Reedy Park Falls and Main Street. 30mins walk up Main and you’re at Bon Secours Wellness Arena. “Free laundry at the sister hotel across the street and free printing in the business center. The staff at both the holiday inn and the sister hotel were just the nicest people. Went above and beyond for us! Only con is that the cleaning agent they use is a heavily perfumed floral. If you're sensitive to smells, maybe skip this hotel.”
