“We stayed here for 2 nights in the height of August - 3 of us in a family room (2 single beds downstairs and 2 on an upstairs mezzanine). There is no air conditioning but there were 2 fans, which were adequate. The room is very clean and very convenient for walking to the bus stop (which is free with a card from the accommodation) and only 10 mins walk from the railway station. Not a cheap place to stay - but nowhere is in Interlaken. Breakfast costs 25 Swiss Francs per person (which we did not...

“We booked a family room for four for one night and had a very pleasant stay. Room and toilet was very clean & most importantly the view from our room was the main attraction! Check in was easy as well, parking was free, breakfast was yummy and homey. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with no complaints! It's also a good mid point for Interlaken and Grindewald ”

“The best way to describe this hotel is: straight out of a fairytale! The view from literally anywhere you look are absolutely spectacular. The hotel is 150 years old but they have done an outstanding job at conserving it authentic and classic look but with some modern and classic touches for comfort. You feel like you are transported in a time-capsule machine to a classic, glamorous and beautiful place. Certainly an experience that I would highly recommend ”

“Overall, the staff was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Ours was a very warm welcome, and help was extended every time we requested for something. We loved the place and would definitely come back again if we got a chance. Only issue we had was when we were leaving and had to park in the front (had no where else to park) to load the bags. We did end up blocking the bus/road, but 1 Irish hostess asked us to move not in a polite way. We found this very rude, considering that we were guests....

“the rooms was very small, without air conditioned (with outside temperature of 32°C we missed it), and a very small bathroom (no space for the sink, which was located near the beds!). the room was on the first floor right above the main street, and although the village is quite, the traffic (motorbikes) woke us up at 7. nice small terrace with lake view. breakfast at the restaurant in a nice position near the lake. we also had dinner there, not bad, but very expensive and far from Italian...

“I’m very impressed and satisfied with my stay . The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the train station. The decorations and design is so vintage and I remembered some of the old pots and pans and iron displayed all over the lobby . The front desk staff were helpful and always smiling . The room was so cozy and clean . I had the beautiful view of the mountain and water . The breakfast buffet was awesome and delicious ! The servers were all accommodating , friendly , smiling , courteous....
