“Everything was very well taken care of except the pool building which was an awful first impression of the property since it is the first thing you see upon arrival. Rotten and decaying siding and what isn’t is In need of repainting. A sharp contrast to the rest of the buildings and grounds which were beautiful.”

“This is an older hotel. If you desire a comfortable room that's clean and warm but has no frills, then this is a great bargain. I got the impression that the owners were new, like family run. Only free coffee in the office available. People were friendly and caring! They went out of their way to make sure I got my driver's license back after leaving it at the office. I will stay here again.”

“Nice location. We had a nice room with porch. It was separated from the main building but it was just in front of it. Porch was not very clean as the outside of the main bldg but our room was very comfortable and we used the fireplace. Breakfast is super.”

“We enjoyed our stay. The inn is in an old historic building but the interior is clean and filled with nice touches. We stayed one night, and were in the smallest room. The bed was fine. The room was quiet! The breakfast was thoughtfully presented. Good coffee. Great bread. We enjoyed the outside patio and lawn that leads down to the Ottauquechee River. We also enjoyed the artwork in the gallery. The best part of the inn is the owner and staff. They are attentive and eager to please. ”

“The owner was very attentive and helpful with all of our requests. He was truly thankful for us staying at the Inn. The Inn was nicely decorated and full of history which was shared throughout. The outside area was inviting with different seating options from couches to tables and chairs to Adirondack chairs under a tree and by the river. There was also a 2 seater swing. “We loved staying at Hotel Coolidge-family of 4, 2 young children. We went in with the knowledge this is an old hotel, with original features and did not expect fancy, updated hotel. The staff was so nice and accommodating, surround area nice with several great places to eat. Our only complaint, and not so much a complaint but a thing we would prefer is just some room darkening curtains. It was very bright all night and disturbed sleep. Would stay here again and just bring some sleep masks! ”
