“This was my first trip to Saugatuck, so I really didn’t know what to expect. I’m a hotel snob (annoying to both myself and anyone I travel with). Rob called me and I was immediately set at ease. The charm cannot be captured on camera. Loves: 1. Rob, the owner, is welcoming. 2. Well thought special touches, like corkscrews, lighters, grills, and morning coffee. 3. The pool is pristine! “It was a very nice hotel. The pool is nice and clean and the owner was very nice and sweet. Power did go out on our second day and night. We had to leave because one of my sisters has asthma and couldn’t take the heat with no air conditioner. ”

“King room (suite?) was spacious and we loved having the “kitchen” with full fridge, stovetop and microwave. This gave us so many options for our meals. Bed was comfortable. Property seemed new. Decorated in modern / mid-century modern. Gym, pool, easy parking. Breakfast was typical of this level hotel. Cooked oatmeal and hard boiled eggs appreciated. ”
