“The villa was beautiful! Had two balconies to chose from which both overlooked the lake. The bathroom was modern and even had a sauna inside. Parking can be slightly difficult to find but we were lucky during our stay to find spaces not too far away from the villa”

“We spent a few days in Barni. Elisabetta welcomed us on the first day and showed us around. During our stay she maked sure, we feel safe and asked if everything is fine. The house was clean and spacious, also the garden, which has a pool, a nice BBQ area and lot of toys for the children. The kitchen was well equipped. There was also enough parking space for 3 cars. We enjoyed our stay very much. Elisabeta is a very nice and kind host.”

“Upon arrival, we were greeted to dirty dishes, smelly refrigerator, someone’s laundry in the washer/dryer as well as a lack of cleaning of the property and a number of broken items. Contacted the management company who asked for us to send pictures which we did and they subsequently sent cleaners over who did the bare minimum as they only vacuumed the main floor, not the other floors. “Absolute perfection. Everything was better than expected. Our family of 5 stayed here and only wish we could have stayed longer then five days. The pictures do not even come close to how beautiful this villa is from the bocce court to the wine cellar it is truly amazing. It is located only minutes from the town which offers great restaurants, shops and cafes. Across the lake is Bellagio which is worth visiting. Lugano is also just a 30 minute drive away. “Loved our visit to Villa Silvana. Luigi was very helpful and quickly available when needed. The view exceeded expectations! Amenities were ample even with the villa fully booked. One thing to note, the walk to the castle and to Varenna is very steep , limited taxi service and bus service. Also the train from Milan only takes you to Lierna but we took the ferry to Veranna with no problems. So plan ahead if you have a tight schedule. Once there, it’s paradise and well worth the visit. “La struttura è moderna e molto bella, la prima pecca sta sicuramente nell’orario per il check-in, che è fisso alle 15h, quindi purtroppo bisogna aspettare nonostante la stanchezza del viaggio. Il secondo punto negativo sta nelle pulizie nelle stanze. Visto lo standard dell’edificio e i costi, le pulizie dovrebbero essere incluse. ”
