Hotel a Skandia

“When we arrived, was notified there was 2 bedrooms and not 3 as listed in Expedia site. No refund or 3rd bedroom unit available since I booked with Expedia. The house had a stinky oder. One of the frying pans had rust on it. The dishwasher had ? Clean dishes in it. Tables and counter top were well used. The main couch was well used and not comfortable. It would have been nice to have chairs on the deck. The beds were comfortable and linen were clean. Loved the pool, sauna and hot tub.”

“Basic room being the only motel in town. Room had a slight odor and air conditioner in window was very loud. Sink and bathroom could use updating. It worked for one night.”

“Was able to get my room a day early as I fled the heat wave after three days and nights of tent camping. Quiet room, AC was fine, parking close to room door and door to outside actually locks, nice king-size bed. Complementary breakfast was basic.”

“Struttura trasandata con camera e bagno molto stretti, la doccia era mal funzionante. Letto comodo, pulizia discreta. Angolo cottura utile ma senza alcuna stoviglia. Per il prezzo pagato ci aspettavamo qualcosa di meglio. Per il check in ci siamo rivolti al grocery di fronte(che fortunatamente era il posto giusto) visto che non abbiamo ricevuto info pur inviando messaggio e telefonando come indicato su hotels.com”

“This was a good value with comfortable beds, nice linens and Dove products. The large hot tub was fantastic and open until 11pm! No pool though. The free breakfast is basic but decent. The steakhouse across the street is fabulous (no alcohol though). You may wait a bit for the food, but it’s worth it! The casino next door is very basic with a limited menu and restaurant closes early.”

“Convenient location”

“I stayed in the apt style room and had a hard time sleeping as I could hear the people upstairs with every step they took and even if their tv was on. I wouldn’t stay again in the unit unless I had kids with me that don’t sleep well anyway. Besides that, the bed was comfortable, linens and cupboards fully stocked, and very spacious with easy parking and great location in Munising.”

“There where no phones in the rooms!”

“Sorry, one water bug on shower curtain, but another in sheets on bed. Just that I hate those things. When I mentioned the bugs to clerk the next morning, he only shrugged and didn't know if they sprayed for insects.”

“When we arrived our room was ready and the young lady at the front desk was nice and helpful. The first thing we noticed was that he toilet kept running after it was flushed. Then after we started walking on the carpet we realized it was sticky and seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in quite awhile. When we tried to call the front desk the phone didn't work. We had wifi but it was very weak and slow. Finally when we went to use the shower in the morning there was no hot water. The front desk...

“The location on 3rd street was walkable to multiple restaurants and shops as well as next door to the dome. The sauna was new and well maintained along with the exercise equipment. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast with the variety of options available! The room was clean. Washing machines also available. No complaints!”
