“What a stunning house! Tasteful and elegant decor throughout with homely features. Adele is the perfect host; attentive yet not overbearing and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious and couldn’t be faulted. The room was spotless with plenty of refreshments and little treats left for us to enjoy. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it. A true gem in the heart if God’s own County. Thank you Adele for a truly memorable weekend. Jan & Roy Wacker”

“A lovely hotel in a great country setting. Nice grounds and a river at the end of the garden. Hotel nicely decorated and very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. I only had breakfast at the hotel but that was top notch. I would definately stay there again.”

“Siamo rimasti a York per tre sere, provenienti da Londra e diretti ad Edimburgo.
La città medievale è splendida, la guest house eccellente.
La camera spaziosa per tre persone e arredata splendidamente. Il bagno in camera.
Pulizia ottima.
La guest house rimane a circa 15 minuti dal centro, raggiungibile a piedi o anche con servizio di autobus.
Consigliamo a tutti coloro, famiglie e non, che decidono di fermarsi a York.

We unfortunately were not able to have breakfast as they don't start serving until 9 and we needed to be on our way for the day by 9 :) The room was clean, although the bathroom could have been cleaner.
