“This is a very, very cool place. The history and story is remarkable and the environment is a total throwback. I had breakfast and dinner and both were very good. The cocktails Nathan crafted for me were wonderful and it was a pleasure to chat with him and other patrons. Now, it's a historic paddlewheeler; not a sparkling new cruise ship. “I overnighted here to go birdwatching at Consumes Preserve early the next morning. At 5:30 a.m., there were many breakfast choices set out including breakfast burritos, yogurts and fruit. Julie (I believe that was her name) was very efficient and pleasant. Room was clean and bead was comfy.”
