“We stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Dover while attending a family event, and the location was very convenient. The staff was courteous and professional, and the bed was comfortable. However, the property felt dated and in need of upgrades. Our room had a musty smell, peeling paint on the bathroom door, and the showerhead and faucet showed signs of mildew and calcification. We ended up using Febreze and wiping down high-touch areas with Lysol wipes to feel more comfortable. Overall,...

“The room smelled like mold and mildew, no ice machine or vending machines, lots of stains on bathroom floor and counter. Mini fridge wasn’t even plugged in. Air conditioner unit was leaking all over carpeting.”
