Inn a South Normanton

“The only problem was no wi-fi.. just need to be sorted and it, would be a little fantastic place.. close to the centre and quite place”

“A nice travellers rest inn, we had a very spacious ground floor room with an equally spacious ensuite, the room was a little noisy early evening, but was generally quiet overnight. Well located in the centre of Bakewell close to all the town has to offer. The adjoining pub has a great atmosphere with excellent food and drinks. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating.”

“Pleasant stay …very good room…helpful staff……think could upgrade non cooked breakfast options a little …not too onerous to offer good bread, jams or yoghurt or fruit but evening meals good”

“The view of the dale, valley, mountains and trees is amazing. This hotel sits just by itself but it’s heaven placed! Parking is easy on the street, breaky is included in the price and Sam and the team make you feel at home with good food (it was pie day!), beer and a nice cozy restaurant with a view. Our room was squeaky clean, compact but super comfortable.”

“The welcome we received at the Dog and Partridge from David was excellent. We were quickly booked in and directed to our accommodation. A good feature was that our vehicles were able to be parked close to the room. The room was clean, well maintained and perfectly satisfactory. After a sound sleep, and shower we had...

“Enjoyed our stay at the plough. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent. Room was a little small but well appointed, with tea making facilities, iron and ironing board, heater/ fan and hair drier. Bed comfortable. 1k from the centre of Hathersage, lots of parking for residents and bus stops outside.”

“Okay for a short stay. Little bit of tlc was needed throughout, otherwise all ok”
