Comfortably and exquisitely furnished, it is always a pleasure to arrive and occupy the spacious common rooms and assigned bedrooms. As frequently encountered in England, old properties may lack some modern amenities Americans are used to like air conditioning and convenient USB charging ports. Televisions are dated; rooms do not have clocks....

Dining was a delight. Finally, we enjoyed the estate grounds. The Church of St. Margaret the Queen provided a religious and historical uplift. And don’t miss the many trails on and around the estate!”

“Our second stay at Buxted Park. It is a beautiful Country house hotel with stunning grounds. The room was very comfortable with quality bedding, robes and slippers, a balcony and view to the lawn. There was a wedding while we were there but still a quiet stay. The reception staff were lovely, polite and very helpful too.
I would come back again.”

The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. “We contacted the B&B to arrange a very early check in which was agreed with no problem.
There was a dedicated parking space close to the guest entrance which made taking luggage to the room easier.
We stayed whilst the worst of Storm Darragh was passing, so the short walk to the entrance was very welcome.
The room was spacious enough with shower, comfortable bed and, despite Storm Darragh doing its worst outside, very quiet.
Breakfast was very tasty with all produce locally bought, or made in...

Porridge, cereal, fruit yoghurt, croissants with jam and orange juice. Tea and coffee. There is a personal picnic bench outside the door to enjoy it in the sunshine with the birds singing. The pub did great food in a lovely dining room. -it’s perfect and we will come back soon”
