“Our room was lovely and a lot of care had been taken in its decoration. The bathroom was fully tiled with a Mediterranean feel. The hotel is very clean and the staff put in a lot of hard work to keep it so. We had a meal in the restaurant on our first night which was very nice and the bar was open to residents until 10.00 pm. Peccato che nella prenotazione di HOTELS non è stato assolutamente specificato che la camera nostra era una specie di capsule room (penso sui 12 mt), inadatta per due persone e per muoversi con le valigie. Men che meno si poteva capire che questa tipologia fosse diversa da altre presenti in hotel, visto che era una doppia con letto doppio senza altra specifica. “I have stayed in youth hostels I would rate higher than the Hope Hotel. Shower didn't work, lamp didnt work, toilets didn't flush, music so loud from downstairs till 12.30am that couldn't hear TV and the shower door was rattling. Cabinet was broken and floor was dirty. Asked if could swap rooms and told what did I expect staying in a pub on a Saturday. There were rooms available and the woman was just rude. No sleep, no shower and just crap. “The hotel is very handy. Staff in the restaurant friendly and helpful. The first room n. 308 was very nice but unfortunately the air conditioning wasn’t working and nobody could repair it as it was a Sunday. We were moved to another room the day after. Can’t rooms be checked before the customers’ arrival?”
