“Good location. Good value. I stayed 6 nights. Clean sheets and towels would have been nice. I was surprised by the $25 per night pet fee as I didn’t see anything about it in the web.”

“It was a nice stay. The room was nice bathroom clean. My problem was there wasnt a person in house most of the time. There was a kiosk in the lobby. Thats how business was conducted. If you had a nonstandard question there was no quick answer. English was not the first language. The accents were very difficult to understand over a speaker. My card was doubled billed. It was not corrected.”

The only downside was the shower—it was quite small. It was just large enough to stand in, so it might feel a bit cramped for bigger guests. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and a good value for the price.”

“Staff was very nice to us. The sheets could have been nicer. They have a tendency to pill. Since the weekend rate is higher, it would have been nice to have a little upgrade on the breakfast may be nicer danish. Very clean pool was great right on the beach.”

“Everything about the Island House was fabulous! The host, Bernie and Kenny are great and prepared wonderful breakfast and snacks, especially the carrot cake with cream cheese icing! The location is good also, conveniently located to everything. We definitely hope to come back soon!🌸”

“The Island Guesthouse was the perfect place to stay for our quick trip out of town! Our room was so clean and extremely well-maintained. It was really nice because it was away from all the in-season crowds but still close to the beaches and more touristy areas. The whole hotel has a lot of personality and really had We really, really liked it here and we definitely be back for a next trip to the Outer Banks!”
