Hotel vicino a Southsea Beach - Portsmouth

“A lovely little hotel a couple of minutes walk away from the beach and 10 minutes walk from the theatre and restaurants. Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable … quite a small bathroom but fine for a night’s stay. It was quite warm in the room and we couldn’t open one of the windows as the latch was broken. “This is easily the best hotel in Portsmouth- best location, easy included parking out front on. there own grounds. Large, traditional old hotel, but well kept. 24 hour bar for residents. Upmarket restaurant. One major drawback - no aircon in the bedrooms or the hallways stairs etc.: a big problem if you are there during a heat wave -36! - as I was. I would still book again though, but only in cooler weather.”

“The room was clean, and a great location in Southsea. A few small issues: the TV stopped working on our last morning, the bath had not been used and the water ran yellow, but the shower was fine. A cloth to do the washing up would have been of use. Overall the room was a great base for our weekend away.”
