“We booked one night in the lodge. The instructions for check in were easy to follow and our room and the communal areas (kitchen and bathrooms) were very clean and presentable. The lodge is right right next to the restaurant and Altho we did not eat there, the food smelt delicious.”

“Love this property, very welcoming staff and well looked after room. Fabulous views and very peaceful and quiet. Definitely only worth a night stay as there isn’t much around and very limited food options. The restaurant was lovely and service was great! The breakfast hamper was perfect! ”

“At the time of our stay they were renovating the verandahs the staff contacted myself to arrange different rooms. we were moved from our original room n upgraded to 2 separate rooms which we didn't mind. The young fella at the office was absolutely amazing extremely knowledgeable of Tassie and very helpful! The restaurant was beautiful but we aren't big seafood fans. Just stop in for a few drinks :-) Highly recommend this place if your going on the train or ferry. Look forward to visiting again...

Our room was very comfy although one side of the electric blanket didn’t work. The creaky floor added character to the building. The entrance with its beautiful staircase and furniture was so beautiful . Thoroughly enjoyed our meal in the dining room and our breakfast the next morning. Would recommend this hotel to our friends.😊. ”

“It was clean and functional. Property was difficult to find - down an alley - better signage needed. But It was ok for the price. Mattress on the single bed is ordinary. Bedding could be aired - smells a bit musky. Cupboards look like a dumping ground for unused cutlery and crockery. Only need enough stuff for the max number of guests (4 or5?) ”

“Amazing, we stayed 2 nights. Loved the cabin, especially the outdoor bath. Had a few furry friends come visit too. Fire place kept us warm as it was a bit chilly at night. Only thing I would recommend is to have 2 sets of towels as it was a bit hard to get them dry after use. ”
