“The Residence Stine - this one was difficult to judge. Yes it ticks all the boxes but it’s not a hotel per se - it’s a large house converted into a 9 room bed & breakfast. So lacks the full hotel services. HOWEVER, the hotel is located in a residential area 200m-300m up quite a steep incline on a narrow cobbled street. Elderly & infirm - BEWARE! La nostra camera era vicino al loro bistrot Seven, hanno ascoltato musica ad alto volume ben oltre la mezzanotte, nonostante avessi fatto presente che si sentiva tutto come se fossero con noi in stanza. Hanno abbassato il volume per 5 minuti e poi ripreso....mai più!”

“The lady who runs this place is great and speaks good English. You just have to remember that it's very hard to find. Go to the Ambassador Hotel then cross the street and ascend the stairs on the right and then take a left and you're there. Very clean and inviting accommodations near the Riva in Split. Probably take a cab the first time.”
