“Fantastic place to stay when visiting Portland. The location can't be beat -- within a couple of blocks to the ferry terminal and Old Town shops and restaurants. The building is next to a police station and my family and I felt very safe. The unit was immaculate, modern, and fully equipped. Onsite parking was a huge bonus, as was the friendly and helpful staff. I would, without hesitation, stay at The Docent's Collection again.”

“C'est un motel très vieux mais très propre et très bien situé en face de la plage. Nous avions une chambre avec cuisinette qui était tout a fait fonctionnelle. La personne a l'accueil était très à l'écoute de nos besoins.”

“Beautiful, clean, modern property close to down town. Easy to walk to where you wanted to go. Parking is available; however, you pay for it like everywhere downtown. The valet service is awesome though. My only other thing I didn’t care for was the view of the roof we had from our room, but not much can be done about that. We got the short stick I guess. "Very dirty hotel. The carpet on the floor hadn’t been properly hoovered before our check in and there was dirt / dust / stains all over chairs and other surfaces. The room unfortunately smelt of smoke (even if it’s not allowed to smoke there apparently) and the sink in the toilet was missing the knobs. Overall a terrible hotel. The only ok thing was the bed. Not uncomfortable and decent bedding. Also - the personnel at check in was very nice and helpful :) "
