“Parking was limited Sheets had burn marks on them Bathroom had mold and part of the ceiling in the shower was peeling off dressers were damaged beds were to soft to sleep in. They charged me twice the amount of what I paid for an extra night”

“The promo on Expedia said was near the beach.....was at least 1 mile away. The "included" breakfast consisted of brown bananas, soft apples, white bread and OJ. The main door into out room wasn't sealed. Light came in the room at night, bugs crawled underneath the door, etc. EVERYTHING was dirty.....bathroom, sheets, curtains, floor, on and on....”

“Coming from out of town I had no idea what to expect. It was probably one of the most outdated and least maintained hotels I have ever experienced. Trash all over the exterior, no hot water in our room, no daily cleaning service. The rooms have not been updated in about 20 years. The room next to us had the window open to the exterior and all I could see was mold and the ceiling completely torn apart. I highly recommend not staying here.”

“Stayed here 5nights while visiting family living nearby. Good size king room, very clean and fantastic staff. The ladies who run the breakfast buffet are great! Housekeeping is awesome. On site laundry on 3rd floor is handy and area was also clean. It’s run remotely by an app you can download to your smartphone. We’d definitely stay here again.”

“This place has gone DOWNHILL. Everything is old. Paint chipping. Furniture chipping. Absolutely NOT worth the $$$ and will NEVER stay here again. We have stayed here before years ago. The rooms are ridiculously small. Very disappointed overall”

(And fresh artisanal continental breakfast included). Awesome and cozy speakeasy-style lounge, with special entertainment nights (check in advance). Perfect for short or longer stays. And great as a gateway to Fire Island Pines and Cherry Grove (5 mins to ferry! shuttle-style service avail). Huge clean room. Washer dryer....

“One of two elevators broken our whole visit. Floors in halls and rooms filthy. Maid service didnt come on the day they were supposed to. Towels worn, bed extremely sagging and pillows old and lumpy. Fan in the bathroom was closed off. This hotel is in desperate need of updating and renovation. Very disappointed!”
