Hotel a St. Charles

“Very nice little Inn. The room we had was very spacious. It had a microwave, coffee pot and mini fridge. It had a nice little kitchen area with a sink, which was very helpful. It was quiet and subdued. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Green Gables Inn!”

“There were cockroaches in our room! The staff didn't seem surprised and the manager advised me he would comp me $50 for my room but only credited me for $30. We saw them early in the morning around 6am on our last day and had to pack our stuff and leave immediately without showering or sleeping in before checkout. I won't stay at another one of these hotels again nor book through Expedia.com as when we tried to cancel one of the rooms originally, expedia wanted to charge us the same amount for...

“Great experience. Traveling with my husband to visit the area and do hikes. Nice location and cozy cute cabins! Owner is super helpful and kind. Minor hiccup at check-in due to booking through Expedia - Expedia doesn't share any info with the owner of the property and the email for my self check-in wasn't sent. I called the owner and he called right back after a few minutes and was able to give me all the instructions I needed. He even gave me some hiking recommendations. Later, the water...

“Incredible!! The hosts were the most gracious we have met and clearly love Winona and their home. The food: fantastic. A wine reception, sherry for a nightcap, Irish cream and chocolate for bedtime, and a brilliant home-prepared 4-course breakfast event. No detail was spared in our room or common areas.
