“Well maintained old Victorian building with lovely staff who were more than happy to help with any requests or act on any feedback. Good views and use of gardens, amazing breakfast. Well located with easy walk into Peel and round the corner from hidden gem the Cathedral. ”

“The owners were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and I like that you had the same table each day with your room number on it. We left before breakfast and the owners brought to our room a bag with goodies in for breakfast to take with us. The room was small but the only issue we had was the bed seemed very small for a double. Otherwise everything was fine. We always found a parking space near hotel.”

“It was very good value. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and wasn't "in your face" I thought the bedroom was good for its' size. The shower pressure was powerful and the room was warm. I didn't use the body/hair gel as I normally bring my own. HQ Bar is a very lovely reasonable priced stay ”

“The room was clean, however the sink was badly cracked and needed replacing. The furnishings in the room were fit for purpose, albeit very dated. I also found the room to be quite noisy - being able to hear showers running, toilets flushing etc from nearby rooms, early morning and during the night. I had a room at the back of the hotel and only had a view of other buildings. However, the rooms at the front including the sitting area, bar and restaurant had great views over the bay.
