Hotel a Stafford

“This hotel is in the process of a renovation. I wish this was told to me before I reserved the room. There was no ice machine. I get it you’re renovating but when I was told that I could go to “WaWa’s” at 10pm for ice! I didn’t have a car and WaWa’s was DOWN THE HILL, across the street. I didn’t sleep that night bet tried not to let it spoil my trip. We stayed another night because we got in late after our planned event. “They didn’t want to book me another night but rather than have dialog or the police come, the office manager had a 6 foot tall person knock at my door wait less than 10 seconds and busted open in my face filing charges on these people”

“When I arrived, the desk clerk advised that the water was off. They told me it would be on within 30 minutes. About an hour later the water did come on and it was brown and rusty. I needed to take a shower so ran the water for a while until the rust cleared up. Once it cleared up, I got in and after a few minutes, was very unhappy to run out of hot water! “Parking was adequate, cleanliness was good, but the advertised gym had been closed for some time and no notice on the site nor property. ”

“Staff was AWESOME. It smelled and appeared clean from.check in to room. The room itself needed help. The ac/heating unit had cracks, the telephone was very dated missing parts and kinda scary to touch it looked loike it had food or something dried into the cracks of it, gross. There were also some obvious reairs that had neen made to the walls and caulking around the doors that looked less than professional. “While checking in I had to wait 45 mins just to check in because there was no one at the front desk. The first room we were assigned to had German roaches in the room and we had to get moved to the other side of the hotel after being offered to get moved right next door where we literally saw a German roach. I was disappointed in this property.”

“The breakfast wasnt bad. The eggs were just overcooked. Overall our visit was good. Bring your own pillows if you care about comfort. The doors slam no matter what you do, so it’s annoying when you hear it during the night. The staff was all very pleasant and accommodating! ”
