“very convenient to all downtown ”

“I reserved a suite for my mother and I, not knowing it was on the second floor with no elevator. My mother is disabled and cannot climb stairs whatsoever. The front desk person had zero compassion for the situation and zero remedies since I booked with Expedia (a 3rd party). I ended up having to book another a room on the first floor and coud not cancel the suite. Hard lesson learned on not checking on floor and elevator situation. “Booked through expedia. Was placed in a room on the ground floor next to a mechanical room that had an extremely noisy machine running. Asked for a change of room and the staff said you have to go back to expedia. It appeared that the staff knew there was a problem with that room. After demanding to speak to the manager , who wasn't available, i stated I'd be willing to pay more et ceterawho, the staff finally agreed to give us a different room. “The TV guide is ridiculous. It shuts off on you when scrolling through it. It’s common with every room we stayed in. Hotel is one of the best in Pendleton. I have stayed many times. But the cable/ satellite company needs to fix the issues.”

“The staff were more than friendly and helpful. The breakfast was more than I expected with plenty of choices. The location was excellent, just a couple blocks from the underground tours, shops, restaurants making it easy to see what was around. The park and riverwalk were just a couple blocks away.”

Rooms were meh, breakfast was late, hallways smelled of a mix of old Indian food and baby diaper. Never again. Dirty, loud guests, tiny towels, small rooms. Rude staffer with zero personality to greet your arrival. Stay somewhere else.”
