“The Whispering Hillside property was lovely, clean, and offered at a very fair price. The house itself was great, and I really enjoyed the hot tub during the first part of my stay.However, I did run into a major issue when the pipes froze, leaving the house without water. While this was definitely a downside for a short trip, I can’t say enough about the host, Karen. “Very nice accommodations. Easy to get to and off the main road which is nice so that you can get around the mountains. Amenities were very nice. Even coffee was available. Beds were comfortable and the living space was plenty for a large group if you needed it.”

“My spouse and I had a peaceful weekend at this property. It was very clean with clear directions on use of all of the amenities. The hot tub is nice and all of the indoor amenities are up to date. We enjoyed its close proximity to Shenandoah National Park and had a nice day of hiking during our stay. We hope to come back again soon and would recommend this property to other couples looking for a relaxing getaway!.”

“The game room was perfect for four grandkids. We enjoyed the games too! We did not use the gas fireplace because of the children and although thermostat was set at 71 still seemed a little chilly inside. Everything else was wonderful- the spacious kitchen for meals and baking, comfortable Bill beds and plenty of room . Unfortunately,we weren’t able to stay second night as planned as inclement weather was forecast the next morning. Plan to return.”

“Such a beautiful site to pull up too. A perfectly curated with the fireplace cozy cabin chic. The hot tub with the view was absolutely amazing. The coach was perfectly nestled with a view to die for and a tv with every channel you wanted. Bed was comfy, and the house stayed nice and warm. 10/10 5 stars! Also I noticed last minute that they have everything you need to make a meal in the cupboards, like spices and tin foil. ”
