“In all honesty I went into this doubting that the pictures of this listing lived up at all to its reality - but I was more than pleasantly proven wrong! Very private (there’s another cabin far away on this property, which is also on a working cattle farm, but that’s the only people you’ll see the entire time, if that), and the views are absolutely incredible. Already want to go back!”

“Fabulous stay at Lake Chateau! Booked a midweek stay for a change of scenery and this property was perfect for me and my partner. So many thoughtful touches from the host - they definitely tried to think of any and everything you may need. Much appreciated! Every light switch, every remote control, button and knob was clearly marked so that there was no confusion. We never needed to reach out to the host for anything. Note for travelers - the driveway up to the propery is very steep and...

“Very nice cabin and everything worked. They provide free firewood as well, I would recommend they cover the firewood up with something so it stays dry. Really cool place.”

“This is our second stay and just like the first it was perfect . Great place to just listen to the wilderness and take in all the fresh air ! We even got to see the deer’s run across the grass four to be exact ! The walk to the lake is always worth it you can even have lunch down there . Grass is always well kept and cabin is always clean ! They even welcome you with some homemade cookies ”

“Beautiful riverside property. Inside of house is quaint. It took a while to get the place heated but then everything else worked. The fire pit and outdoor area was nice. The primary shower and bathroom sink have pretty low water pressure but the other bathroom and shower are fine. The hot tub could have been cleaner so I didn’t give it a full 5. Otherwise, cute place and great for families or couples.”

“Great location for hiking in Shenandoah...it is conveniently placed for two entrances to the park. Shopping for groceries, etc was convenient in either Front Royal or Luray. The VRBO was clean and comfortable.Two "minor" inconveniences were the TV that required casting from my phone and I would prefer that the host add 50 to the rental fee rather than charging that as an "extra". The host was responsive.”
