“I stayed in a smaller room. This is my 2nd visit. My only complaint is the pillows they are awful. Everything else is good. Staff super helpful, great easy parking. Nice touches like the fridge and coffee machine downstairs.”

“A good hotel. Enjoyable stay. Even booked an extra night which was cheaper than Expedia so a lesson learned. I knocked a star off as the main lifts weren't working which was causing havoc.”

“The room was clean and the location was perfect. Easy to check yourself in and park. It was disappointing that there was no bottled water in the room & tea coffee wasn’t great. I think for the price I would have expected some toiletries and at least bottled water. Very basic and the lighting at the top of the stairs only came on when you were under it and if you are staying in an attic room you can’t see.”

“Perfect location! Quaint spot just outside of the city centre close to UoB. Sam and reception staff incredibly friendly. We could have chatted for hours if we didn't have an itinerary of things we needed to complete before the end of the day! Would definitely recommend a stay here.”

“Rude receptionist who barely acknowledged us on arrival, completely disinterested. The room was basic but clean and fine for our short stay of 1 night. The general noise levels are awful, no soundproofing in the walls and constant banging from an internal door along the corridor. There is no temperature control in the room and it was particularly hot weather which made our stay very uncomfortable and difficult to sleep. Would not recommend to anyone and we are very easy going people”

“Room was spacious but basic & could do with a good dust. Kitchen was very basic and i would not have wanted to do more than make a cup of tea in it. ”

“Bathroom light in studio room 9 was faulty, but otherwise good room decent space and accessible amenities. The tenant at room 1 was very helpful and may as well be staff”

“It was dirty, cheet bed and cover duvet not change and not cleaning. No towels. I am not recognised. We left after see bed not clean. ”
