“We booked in at this hotel since we needed a couple of extra rooms when attending a family wedding. Were not impressed with the check-in desk when we came in at night, and the wifi didn't work. But we were happy the room was warm and spacious, and that we could have a warm shower after a long drive. The towels were not of great quality, but Biotique toiletries were a welcome sign. The hotel fixtures were old and needed some repair (the door lock jammed and the frame cracked when trying to push...

“What can I say? Hotel- charming! Room- gorgeous! Staff- so helpful! Food- amazing! Location- couldn’t have been better for visiting the Amer Fort! We had the perfect Christmas vacation trip to Jaipur thanks to the staff at House of Amer. High recommendation!”

“Room and facilities were excellent and very well maintained. Staff is attentive and very helpful. Hotel is away from the main road and noisy traffic. Access to the hotel, though, is through a local road that is not well maintained... not a problem if you are driving but not very walkable. ”

The homestay is decorated in a Japanese Indian style very peaceful elegant and intentional with big rooms overlooking the green mountain side dotted with temples. The hosts went above and beyond on our stay helping us arrange (last minute) drivers and guides, giving us local recommendations, and even taking us around to their personal spots and introduce us to locals and including us in what felt like the true Jaipur.
