Keep in mind it’s 17 degrees Fahrenheit out. I call this hotel after getting off my flight for shuttle service since we don’t have any checked bags I knew we would be down at ride service within 20 minutes.
I called and notified that I was with my elderly parents and they need extra assistance so I need to make sure the ride will be there so they are not standing in the cold.
During the call I was told the ride will be at either 2B or 2G, I asked are these completely away from one another, and he said no they are beside each other which I thought was odd but ok I trust you. They were in complete different directions when I went to 2B the bud drivers explained to me that the hotel shuttles are around 2G so I go to the end and the driver is driving off, I’m running and screaming to get his attention numerous times and he doesn’t stop.
I contacted HolidayInn and he said “oh he just left he won’t be back for another 30 minutes.” I explained to him “sir i called not even 20 minutes ago so I didn’t have to wait with my parents in the cold for additional 30 minutes as you understand.” This isn’t how you treat your customers the man’s name at the front desk is Mac - extremely rude, talking fast, didn’t care about what I was expressing and put me on hold after I was telling him the situation.
