“The staff was very helpful and friendly. But the house was unsafe and it was dangerous for fire no fire escape from the room. The room hadn't been readied there was no bed linen and it wasn't ready to go into so we had to wait for a hour. ”

“Nice house, parking available right outside. Check in was super easy, the kids loved having their own bathrooms and it made getting ready in the morning so much easier and quicker. We understand the need for the security cameras in the communal spaces but they made us feel uncomfortable and one of the kids was convinced there was one in her room. The loft room was awesome and has a kitchen and sofas if we didn’t want to have a camera on us. Coffee, tea and milk kindly supplied. Would definitely...

“Cutlery was filthy. Kettle full of limescale and so was bathroom. Loose tiles on shower floor. Stains on bedsheets. No solid curtains on the bedroom windows. Couch full of stains and absolutely 0 contact with host. Didn’t even stay the night. Will never come back and can’t recommend. Waste of money ”

“We loved staying in this house. It had absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We used the house as a base for Alton Towers which was a 25 minute drive away. We was left a welcome pack of goodies which was very much appreciated, and noticed the little touches like travel cots and high chairs, and a play room at the back of the house so perfect for families. There was room on the drive for 2 cars. We had a little issue when we was there and I was able to call the owner right...

“Very good for vacation rental. Some may find shower stalls too small; also some may find the modern fixtures in bathrooms and kitchen require some basic explanation/directions for use (i.e. too late when in shower and no glasses on to find out which faucett to use and how).”
