We stayed for a week and have to go to front desk to ask for housekeeping to obtain clean towels and sundries every third day when we see nobody coming to make room. “There was no one else at the hotel in the huge parking lot. It was very run down. Too scary to stay as a single woman. I spoke w a police officer parked down from the hotel and he said don't stay there. Apparently, the hotel has been condemned. This needs to be removed from my charge.”

“The bathroom was filthy and the bed linen had stains in it. We ended up not staying and now I’ll claim a refund.”

“The reviews of this place are incredibly polarizing. Some people think it is the worst place they have ever seen. Others think of it as a twee little time capsule, an example of the pocono mountains in their former glory. The truth is a bit in between, though it is, in cat the worst place I have ever stayed. (And I am a sucker for cheap motels) You can see evidence of its former glory. It seems kinda clean, but it is very run down. Whoever runs this place has done a number of shoddy repairs....

“We had stayed here more than once and this time was one of the poorest. We had no television after 8:00pm. couldn't find anything to watch. Poor reception in our room.We also disappointed that the room needed a good dusting(especially the bathroom). Our room was musty smelling. On top of that most of breakfast was cold!!!!!!!!I put a bagel in the toaster for 5 minutes and it was barely brown. Might have to consider another hotel. New crew in charge?????”

“Rooms were filthy. I checked in and there was dried syrup on the table and dirty linens on the bed. The floor was absolutely disgusting. No one cleaned the room for the 3 days I was there even when requested. The “breakfast” was waffles, bagels, bread, English muffins, however the toaster was broken. The yogurt in the fridge was all expired 05/05 (I found it on the 18th). Do not stay here. Go to the Comfort next to it.”

“Good place to stay for the money. Needs some upkeep in the room. Floor was no real clean and we had to clean up some spots. Great kitchen! Bathroom had some Minor issue and water flow was very slow. Good for the price.”
