"Great lodging! A very short walk from the train station, and yet very quiet. Smelled fresh, very clean. Our 1 bedroom was terrific. Full kitchen, living space with couch and tall desk table. Bathroom tiny but worked for us…and so clean! Bed was comfy. Front desk person was kind and welcoming. This place was ideal for a one night stay AND would be terrific as a base for several nights while exploring the area. Easy train to Southampton, and also to Bath. Busses that go to Stonehenge. "The staff are all lovely - this is the 2nd time I have stayed here as it's close for visiting relations. Rooms are lovely except that you can't really open the windows (in the rooms I've been in) as they open over the roof where the extracted fans are for the kitchen :( Food is excellent - had breakfast & evening meals there. Will definately stay here again!"

The lodge was amazing value for money and contained everything needed for a relaxing break. "Cute and stylish cottage (we were in the Milking Parlour), easy to find and good location. Cosy for a few days for a couple but the outside space a bit disappointing. Inside the cottage is pretty much exactly as per the photos. It's stylish and cleverly designed for multi-functional self-catering. Even has a dishwasher! "all staff superb, 100% staff satisfaction , hotel more a 3 star skimp and saving lets it down , the pool is so small it would be called a plunge pool in Europe, towels were the same size as our hand towels we have at home , room refurbished ,then an old bed let it down, food was excellent and if you just need a place to crash out then it will do"
