“I loved the way the space was set up, the furnishings, the country charm, the little touches, in art work, and general amenities. It was an easy space to unwind and relax in and to feel nurtured and comfortable. It was warm and cosy. I appreciated the bath, the fire and all the little touches of care around the place, as well as accessibility to great walks, food and the general charm of this town. ”

“Ciaran was the perfect host from the moment we were welcomed at the front door till we left. Everything was provided for. Wonderful breakfasts, homemade cookies tea and coffee and evening port made our stay there very memorable. We were given lots of local information which was most helpful. Would stay there again! ”

“My partner and I are travelling Australia in a rooftop tent and canopy. We stayed 5 nights at this BnB and were thoroughly impressed! Quite small but perfect for a couple wanting to get away, very cosy and would love to see it in winter. Has everything you need for your stay and plenty of places nearby just a short drive away. Check-in procedure very simple, has a washing machine/dryer combo and small clothes rack, all kitchen utensils, and a microwave oven. We enjoyed our stay, was really nice...

“McLaren Vale is a long way from home so when we go to this region to enjoy the food, wineries and gin distilleries, we spend three hours in the car. Finding a place like Cobblers Cottage and being able to stay the weekend was a bonus for our anniversary. Neil and Chris have created a beautiful place to stay from this old cottage with lots of modern conveniences, and little extras from our hosts. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy the area where everything is just so close to Willunga.”

She was in touch with us prior to our arrival to take care of any requirements we might have. A wonderful host!
