“The attic room was clean and very nicely decorated. The full bathroom was next door. There was a fridge, microwave and teakettle as well as mugs and dishes. ”

“Lodge was spotless, good size, hot tub great and very relaxing.Bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in the mattress needs replacing.Shower great very powerful however it didn’t drain very well and folded the floor, kitchen was great but utensils need reviewing, ie new saucepans and frying pan, oven trays needed .”

“Cass and Charlie’s stone cottage is a brilliant spot to day trip from that offers a quiet home nestled into incredible countryside.The cottage is roomy, beautifully appointed and amazing walks are right outside your door.Coffee in the morning in the courtyard and a stroll to say hello to the sheep, cows, horses, rabbits and pheasants were a smashing start to each day.We loved every minute with Cass and Charlie. We think you will too!”

“Was there on business the property is clean and has everything you need! If you don’t, Hans is more than happy to help you out, just let him know. He’s a great guy. Shower is a bit slow but it’s a cabin so that’s wasn’t an issue really. Lovely quiet place :)”

“We loved our stay! Close to everything Edinburgh and surrounding area has to offer. Lots of pubs and restaurants to choose from that were only a 5-10 minute drive away. So much space for our family of 4 and such a cozy cottage. The view out the back door was everything we could have wanted. Extremely easy and smooth check in and check out. We were looking for a quiet retreat to finish off our month long adventure in the UK and this cottage was everything and more! We would definitely stay here...

The cabin is beautifully designed, cozy, and surrounded by peaceful nature—ideal for unwinding after a busy day. “Warm and cozy sleeping with the shutters and curtains drawn. Respect the house, switch on the pump if you light the fire, and yes I loved the wood smoke smells, it is mostly round the fire, if the fire is only embers you can switch off the pump, it's circulating the hot water from the fire, I was able to see local interests and the wonderful fresh air, excellent countryside. The ruin of Carmicheal House makes me wonder at its one time beauty, and it's just a short walk to from the cottage,...
