“My wife and I didn't really enjoy our stay here this week. It's a little hard parking around the pickups in the driveway. The smell of the room really hit us hard - mildew and too much potpourri. Felt like visiting your grandparents' house. The room & bathroom are stuffed with Americana knickknacks & art you either enjoy it or, like us, are overwhelmed. It's funky, funky, funky. And there was a pillow on the couch like someone had already been there. Went to talk with the person working the front desk they said that’s weird and that’s the only room we have available for you. “Breakfast was the same every day. Coffee & tea station was a nice perk. Pool was not clean and stairways could use a good vacuum job. ”

“The man that runs this business is great. He remembers who I am each time I return to his motel. It makes me feel special. He's always very kind and friendly. He is always available to help me out with anything I need and to give advice about places nearby. My girlfriend and I have chosen this motel every time we go to Portland for the kind staff, comfortable beds and very low prices. Also it's near plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Great place to stay! ”

“We honestly are considering suing for negligence of cleanliness, extremely rude, dishonest behavior, safety, barged into room multiple times while I was was indisposed and told them to not enter, they required us to do our own cleaning and cleaned after them. Amy cut her finger and bled profusely for hours and we want this location to be removed from your service. “Non-smoking, but the building reeked of cigarettes. There are doors on the wall between room, and those doors had gaps at the top and bottom meaning the 3AM family loud conversation happening in the room next door was loud through the door gaps. Stuffing the gaps with towels didn't help much. The breakfast was limited with burnt coffee. 1 of the 2 key cards didn't work. ”
