“Fantastic place to stay. The views were amazing. Very clean and comfortable. Each day a housekeeper came to empty bins and top up items. So unexpected service and was great. All amenities you need for a great stay. Town totally walkable with lovely shops and lots of history. Cathedral, heritage centre fantastic things to visit. Only negative was the stairs to the apartment but came away a lot fitter then when arrived ”

Since we had no WiFi available we could not contact the phone number supplied and nobody sent a reply when we finally had a WiFi connection. The rooms are beautiful, the food is outstanding—fresh, seasonal, and mostly from their own gardens—and the whole experience feels peaceful and personal. “La mia recensione è riferita semplicemente alla stanza 101 (probabilmente una stanza ricavata, in precedenza sicuramente adibita a stanza di servizio). La stanza presentava un forte odore di muffa, la moquette macchiata nei lati (causa muffa) e il pavimento leggermente in pendenza. La porta del bagno non si chiudeva e la vista affacciava direttamente sui cassonetti dell’hotel. Peccato perché l’hotel ha un suo fascino, con finiture in ottone e mobili di peach pine che ripartono ai fasti andati....

To make matters worse, the photos online seem heavily photoshopped. The hotel looks far better in pictures than it does in reality. For the price, the value just isn’t there. Wouldn’t recommend."
