“The hotel is new and the rooms are spacious. Excellent location as it’s linked to a big mall with many dining options. But what really stand out is the staff. Though bookings were made via Expedia (we had 2 different arrivals and 2 rooms), I had contacted the hotel directly on many occasions with regards to our late check-in, lower floor rooms, rooms near each other and our dining reservations on New Year’s Eve. “We had a lovely stay in Kunming. The hotel receptionist was a very kind boy who welcomed us with a smile and despite having a language barrier was able to communicate to us the essentials. The manager was also very helpful who gave us all the important info through WeChat and also helped us find the right bus to the rice terraces for our next step.
