“Lazy Bear Lodge is a great West Shore place for summer activities; ideal for spending days at Meeks, Chambers, or heading up to float the Truckee. Kitchen had everything we needed. The front seems pretty hemmed in by the neighbors but the back of the property opens up to the woods. We got to see a bear and her two cubs roll past one evening which was exciting for the kids. “God:location. Bad: very dirty and very, very smelly rooms. a very hard box spring bed with dirty sheets and smelly blankets.”

“The air conditioner and heat in my room was not changeable. My room is 79° all night long couldn’t open the window or doing anything else. I have trouble breathing. I need a cool room to sleep in and that’s what they gave me. Also, we checked in two hours early and they charged us 40 extra dollars for two hour check-in. If you get a chance go somewhere else. ”
