But there were just a few things that may be need a re-think by the owners: 1. The main bedroom was extremely hot and it wasn't even hot weather - mid 20s. The fan in the room made no difference, and the A/C in the lounge had no impact. 2. There is a front and rear entrance to the house. The front entrance is not covered, so anything left on the verandah is not...

The accommodation itself was warm, clean and had an amazing view. The attention to detail within the cottage didn’t go unnoticed, even the abundance of treats in the fridge. A must for a weekend of luxury and peace.”

“We stayed in the bowerbird cabin and it was magical. We’d go back in a heartbeat. The area was serene and there was wrap around windows, seeing the trees, hearing the birds and the rain drizzling the entire time felt like we were in another world. The ambiance of the warm lighting and little electrical imitation fire place was cosy and we spent many quiet moments snuggled together under a blanket on the couch in front of it. The cabin was a perfect base for our hiking trips. Exploring the land...

“Loves little cottage, great for couples who wish to stay and enjoy their own company. Like a Second Honeymoom. Cottage is well equipped, with little extras that complement your stay. Wildlife in and around area, plentiful activities for couples, short drive to other destinations. Comfortable bed,clean and tidy room. Highly Recommended. ”

“Staff communications mix up placed us in an upgraded room and an hour later we were told we had to shift rooms the next morning. Staff helped with the move.Room lacked table and chairs making do with 2 lounge chairs and a tea trolley. toilet ran out of flushing water on several occasions during the night. Bed OK but doona much too heavy. Lovely setting, too bad bar and restaurant only open at weekends. We would not return.”

“Great place to stay, close to tram, beach and short walk to surfers paradise town. Apartment had everything we needed to cook while staying and we loved the spa/pool. Only downside is the area is a little noisy but would recommend staying here.”
