“Clean room with basic amenities”

“Enjoyed our visit to the Rose and Crown, Warwick. We were in the rooms on the square, which were well maintained, clean and additional equipment such as iron/ironing board (but no hairdryer) were provided. It was a heatwave weekend and fans were provided in the rooms. We had drinks in the evening, and breakfast at the pub in the morning, which was excellent. “Clean and staff super friendly. We booked a room which didn’t go through but staff managed to find us a room thankfully. It’s cheap and cheerful which is what I paid for. No complaints ”

“Nice location , price and ambiance BUT I had three simple questions when I checked in. The receptionist knew the answer to none of them ( had to check ) : would there be coffee in the morning ? Answer No, not til the restaurant opened at 830 am !!!( Old COFFEE Inn ?!? ). Was the restaurant still open ( closing at 8pm ...didn't know what they were serving ). “Hottest day in May on record and the heating was on in my room. After speaking with staff three times and an hour and a half later, I was moved to another room. In spite of the wonderful advert featuring a restaurant I was told no kitchen tonight. Second room was very noisy overlooking the car park which doubles as a camping ground for motor homes, with ten present. No mattress cover and a very dirty mattress.
